As the world watches the crisis in Ukraine unfold, there are many unknowns and unanswered questions. Join us for a special virtual presentation followed by a Q&A session.

This presentation will provide a brief introduction to and analysis of some of the strategic context and key events in the current Russian invasion of Ukraine, followed by personal reflections from a local community member who left Ukraine years ago.

Featuring Dr. Jacob Stoil, Associate Professor of Military History at the US Army School for Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) and Adjunct Scholar at the Modern War Institute (MWI), and Iryna Yeromenko, an asylee from Donetsk, Ukraine.
